Meet the Program Director

What’s up Power98 listeners!

I’m the program director for Power98. My name is Terri Avery. Most people ask, “What does a Program director do?”

The answer is simple: Everything the DJ’s say and play is my responsibility.

I will be letting you know about all the great things Power98 will be doing.  As well as asking for your opinion on some of the things we do.

As always, feel free to leave me a comment about anything.

    Good Afternoon Ms Avery,

I am a up and coming artist within the Charlotte, NC area looking for a place to be heard. I have a new single I am pushing and video I will be shooting here in Charlotte in May. I know there are many artist who have come before me who are striving to put Charlotte on the map. I would like to help in that effort. I was hoping you could tell me where I could submit my material for serious consdieration. It seems with the options currently availabel on your site it is easy to get lost in the thousands of material people submit. Can you help?

I have included a link to my songs including “Take You There” my new single I am promoting.

    Hello Ms. Avery,

Like Mr. Evans above. I too am looking for a place for a place to let my music be heard. I am a singer-songwriter and have a single that is now out and available to the public for downloads and streaming as well as purchasing the album single. At the present moment I’m currently a soldier in Iraq getting ready to come home and have been putting forth the effort since I’ve been here to putting my music on the net. So now I would like to know how to get it played on the radio before my return home.
I go by “Ricwil” and my single is called “30 Ways”. I would like to know what to do and how to get it played on your station. Thank you!
